We offer free arts & crafts hangouts for homeschooled teen girls to give them a safe, comfortable, creative space to make long lasting friendships. There are 2 groups. Ages 10-12(TBA) yrs & 13-16yrs. We also have our teen boys program, The Makers Circle coming soon.

Currently the hangouts are held at a local community center in Kennesaw GA. The address to the community center is given after permission slips are signed. This is done to keep track of how many girls will attend and so no one outside of Heart Too Art will attempt to attend. Hangouts are held every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month. 1 hours for 10-12yr group and 2 hours for the 13-16yr group.

Yes, there is a waiting area where parents and older siblings can hangout until after the hangouts are done. The room we host the hangouts holds about 10 girls. Parents and siblings can come check in on the girls but to make sure the girls are all comfortable and able to build relationships we ask parents and siblings to be seated in waiting/lobby area.

No, the hangouts are free. Currently we purchase all the supplies needed and cost of rental space. It is perfectly ok if the girls want to bring their own art supplies or if parents want to donate art and crafts supplies.

Once we receive your form , you will get an email from us with the permission form needed for your daughter to participate. Once we receive the permission form filled and signed we send out our welcome letter and newsletter with upcoming hangout dates and projects.

Because we strive to keep our groups small so that the girls don’t become overwhelmed we ask that no additional guest be brought to the hangouts. If you know someone else who may be interested please have them contact us first.
